34. Fast Track by Fern Michaels

About The Book

It's been years since the members of the Sisterhood first banded together, with the help of their mentor Charles Martin, to exact their own form of justice on those whose crimes had gone unpunished by the legal system. Now, back in the United States after an enforced exile, and ensconced in a new home on Big Pine Mountain in North Carolina, Myra, Kathryn, Annie, Alexis, Isabelle, Yoko, and Nikki are breathing easy at last-but not for long. One dark night, under cover of a vicious storm, a helicopter lands on their mountain. The Sisters aren't about to wait to be ambushed. Braving the storm, they set out to greet their guests, only to be told by Charles that the mysterious visitors are the Sisterhood's new employers, and they've got a dangerous new assignment in mind. The task they face is daunting. If they succeed, the Sisterhood will be rewarded beyond their wildest dreams. If they fail, they'll forfeit much more than a paycheck. But if the Ladies of Pinewood have learned one thing over the course of their adventures, it's that when friends band together, miracles can happen...

This is book 3 in the Rules of the Game Series. So far this one is my favorite. I started reading it yesterday and just had to stay up until I finished it. Very enjoyable. Can't wait to see what happens next.

33. Carrot Cake Murder by Joanne Fluke

A family reunion takes a deadly turn and of course Hannah decided to hunt for the killer.
I look forward to each new book as it comes out and getting updated on the lives of Hannah and friends and family. And there is also Moishe(the cat) who is finding new ways to get attention. I have decided it is funnier reading about them then it is having to put up with your cat doing them. Looking forward to the next book. To bad it is a year away.

32. Death of a Garage Sale Newbie by Sharon Dunn

Book Description
Solving a murder mystery is much more than the BHN bargained for!

What could Ginger the baby boomer, Kindra the college student, Suzanne the pregnant mother of three, and Mary Margret the silver-haired real-estate agent possibly have in common? Who would’ve guessed…a passion for garage sales!

This motley crew forms the Bargain Hunters Network–bonding while clipping coupons, attending half-price sales, and scouting clearance racks in their hometown of Three Horses, Montana. But when one of the four turns up missing, these shop-till-you-drop women must set their bargain hunting aside to take up an entirely new venture altogether–solving a crime.

As the three amateur sleuths retrace their friend’s fateful steps, they discover clues that lead them to suspect her murder is linked to an unusual garage sale purchase made on the morning of her death. But when their search unearths a disturbing secret that’s been carefully concealed for over twenty years, the women are drawn into a dark underworld filled with bribery, greed, and deception. With determined criminals who will stop at nothing to keep their secret safe, will these fiscally conscious females end up paying the ultimate price?

This is my first time reading this author. Overall I enjoyed the book. I would have liked it more had there not been religious preaching. Than again had I known there was some preaching in the book, I probably would not have read it. I read a cozy mystery for the mystery, not to hear about God. If I want to hear about God I know where the church is.

31. Haunting Olivia by Janelle Taylor

Olivia's father dies and leaves her his summer cottage. The are conditions attached to her receiving it. At first she doesn't want to go back to Blueberry, Maine since it holds bittersweet memories of her long ago first love. And the child that she was told died during childbirth, thirteen years ago.

I knew how this one was going to end when I started it...But there are some other things in it that I didn't figure out. Overall a very good read.

30. The Appeal by John Grisham

A jury holds a chemical co responsible for dumping toxic waste in the town's water supply. So of course the chemical company appeals the the Mississippi Supreme Court.

A very good read and it makes you wonder what really goes on in our legal system. Very happy that Grisham has finally written another legal thriller.

29. 7th Heaven by James Patterson &Maxine Paetro

I always look forward to the next installment in this series. And this one does not disappoint. I had a hard time putting this book down. It is always nice to catch up with the gang.

That said I still prefer the ALex Cross series.

28. Claire and Present Danger by Gillian Roberts

It has taken me forever to decide to read these books...And now that I am almost done I think I will miss Amanda. I liked this book better than the previous one.

27. Helen Hath No fury by Gillian Roberts

Another installment in the Amanda Pepper series. While I do enjoy these books..I think that sometimes she doesnt finish up a storyline. What happened to Petra? Did she ever come back. At least we found out the real name of Amanda's boyfriend. LOL

24. Wash And Die by Barbara Colley

I love getting updated on this series. Charlotte always manages to find dead bodies. She is on the list of suspects along with her tenant. So of course, she decides she has to clear her name. This is a cute, fun series.

23. Something Blue by Emily Giffin

Overall I enjoyed this book. I still have issues..LOl I thought the ending was a little to perfect. What happened to Marcus? Did he never see his boys? Ethan how could you fall for Darcy and Darcy how could you change overnight. That's right it is a book and not real life.

22 . Something Borrowed by Emily Giffin

Not sure that it really happens like this in real life. I enjoyed reading about Rachel, Dex, Marcus, Darcy and assorted other characters. I felt there were some unanswered questions so I had to read the second book right after this one.

21. The Fright Of The Iguana by Linda O Johnston

I enjoy this series. Kendra manages to find all kinds of trouble. I thought this one was not up to par with the rest of the series...But then came the ending. I can't wait for the next one to come out.

20. What Goes With Blood Red, ANyway by Stevi Mittman

This is the lastest installment in the Teddi series. I am still undecided about this author. A few people have raved about her and I am trying hard to like her books...But something is not clicking for me. On the back of the book it says the author went from writing historical romances to writing hysterical mysteries. Mysteries are my favorite books to read. Maybe I like the blood, guts and gore type mysteries better.

A friend told me that this series reminds them of the Plum series by Evanovich.I am not crazy about that series either..

Oh well I have all the books in the Teddi series and I will keeping reading them and passing them on to people who might enjoy them more then me.

19. Peppermint Twisted by Sammi Carter

A very satisfying trip to Paradise, Colorado. This is the third book in the series and I think they keep getting better. I love catching up with Abby and all the trouble she seems to get into.
